Kevin Rambosk, for those who really don't know him, is Don Hunter's Undersheriff since 2005 and is a former City of Naples Manager, City of Naples Chief of Police and has lived in Collier County since 1978. Listed at the Supervisor of Elections site are two opponents for the Sheriff's posts in the upcoming election: - Angiolillo, Vincent 'Vinny', Republican - Ortino, Victor P., Republican As all candidates are Republicans, the election will actually be decided in the August 26, 2008 Republican primary. So if you are a snowbird, a registered voter in Collier County, don't forget to apply for absentee ballot and make sure your signature that is at the Supervisor of elections office matches your current signature. As long as there is not independent candidate or Democrat running for the Sheriff's office, the Republican primary in August will be open for all Collier County voters.
